My Specialties
Each of my design themes is drawn from the beauty around me, then mixed with a touch of whimsy and fun. That special touch may be a chipmunk sitting on a forest stump, the crystalline lace of window pane frost, floating dandelion puffs or the intrusive claw of a mystical friend. I combine these designs element with a careful attention to detail craftsmanship to bring you a fine piece of ceramic that you can enjoy for years to come.
My Work
I am a long-time artist in multiple medias including ceramics, calligraphy, and book art. My ceramics and calligraphy are currently featured at the “Three Blind Mice” gallery in Hillsboro Oregon. My work has been featured in various Local galleries, the Oregon State Fair, and the William Stafford traveling exhibit. In addition to pottery I known for my embossing, a subject I has taught in Oregon, Washington, New York, and at FOBA 2016.
My Inspiration
My work is alive with elements drawn from the forest and the woodland marshes. Dragon flies, cat tails, drifting dandelion puffs or lacework of frost adorn it. I have resided in Oregon most of my life, where it natural beauty forms my inspiration.
